Questions, answered

The honest version. What the work is, what it isn't, and what I can and can't promise you before you ever fill out a form.

01The coaching

How the work works.

Why is coaching by application?
Because I take a small number of clients and I'd rather work deeply with a few than thinly with many. The application isn't a gate to make you feel exclusive. It's how I find out whether I'm the right person for what you're trying to do. Sometimes the honest answer is no, and I'll tell you that.
What's actually included?
A program built for your life, not a template. Daily actions, lessons that arrive one at a time, a weekly check-in, and direct access to me through the app. We talk regularly. I see your data. I adjust. It's nutrition and fitness coaching for the person, not the spreadsheet.
There's an app?
Yes. You weigh in, log how you're feeling, and see the day's actions and lesson in about a minute. It keeps the small daily inputs frictionless so the bigger conversations between us can be about what matters. You're not chained to it. It's a tool, not a tamagotchi.
How do we communicate?
Through the app, and on calls when something deserves a real conversation. I'm not a 24/7 chat bot, and I'll be honest about response times, but you're never shouting into a void. A check-in every week, plus messaging in between when you need it.
02Getting started

Before you begin.

Do I need to be in shape already?
No. I started at 245 pounds. Wherever you're beginning is the right place to begin. The program meets your current fitness, not some idealized version of it, and we build from there.
How much time does this take?
The daily inputs take a few minutes. The training and the meals take whatever they take, and we set that against your real schedule, not a fantasy one. If you only have three hours a week to train, we build a plan that works in three hours a week.
Do I need equipment or a gym?
It depends on your goals. Plenty of good work happens with a pair of shoes and a sidewalk. If you have a gym, we'll use it. If you don't, we'll build something that doesn't need one. I'll never make missing equipment your excuse.
03Expectations

The honest part.

How fast will I see results?
Slower than you want, and that's by design. The changes that last are the ones you barely notice arriving. I'm not interested in a number that spikes and crashes. I'm interested in the version of you that's still here in two years.
What happens if I fall off?
You will. Everyone does. A bad week is not a failure, it's data. We don't restart, we adjust. The point of coaching is having someone in your corner precisely for the weeks that don't go to plan. Falling off and getting back on is the entire skill.
Do you guarantee results?
No. I won't, because I can't, and anyone who does is selling you something. I can promise a sound plan, honest feedback, and that I'll show up. The work is yours to do. What I guarantee is that I won't lie to you about how it's going.
04Logistics

The practical details.

What about run coaching specifically?
Run coaching is a focused track at $100 a month. Structured training built around your race or your goal, adjusted as you progress. If you want the full nutrition-and-fitness partnership, that's the application-based coaching above. Tell me what you're chasing and I'll point you to the right one.
Do you do speaking?
Yes. I speak to teams and groups about change that holds, the long version of getting healthy, and what eight patient years actually taught me. Details and booking are on the speaking page.
What's your refund and cancellation policy?
Plainly: run coaching is month to month and you can cancel anytime before your next billing date, no penalty and no awkward conversation. Application-based coaching terms are agreed before we start so there are no surprises. I don't lock people into something that isn't working. If it's not a fit, we part well.
